WellSpring Wade Ave

The first store on the way home - not the cheapest - just the closest.

This sculpture is called Tango and it dances every day in front of the big black box of a building where I work.

This is the Harris Teeter I shop in almost every day at the corner of Oberlin and Gleenwood. It's called the 'little tetter' because a much larger Harris Teeter is about a mile away on Oberlin which is called by my neighboros the 'big teeter'.

Rainy most of the day today - storms from the mid-west on their way.

This is Kokopelli who protects my home. He was given to me by a friend the day before Hurricane Floyd struck Raleigh, NC in September 15-16, 1999. Kokopelli was outside when 4 large Oak trees fell across my yard during hurricane. Nothing touched my house.

Kokopelli is a ancient god of the American desert southwest and is know as The Flute Player. Kokopelli is regarded as the universal symbol of fertility for all life, be it crops, hopes, dreams, or love.

I own many orchids. The orchids spend about 12 months in a greenhouse and 3 months in bloom.
